學校簡介

本園創辦於二零零一年九月，為大埔浸信會屬下幼稚園，座落天水圍天澤邨澤星樓地下。

本園的教育目標是透過德育、智育、體育、群育、美育及靈育(簡稱六育)的培育和發展，為幼童提供一個優質的學習環境，讓他們在這六方面有均衡及良好的發展，利用環境、資源、各項有趣的活動和遊戲的設計，啟發他們獲得知識和能；同時，養成良好的學習習慣和生活態度，讓他們經驗愉快和合群的生活，培養幼童有獨立思考能力，勇於嘗試、建立自學精神，發揮潛能，肯定自我，欣賞他人和承擔責任，為將來終身學習及未來生活奠定良好基礎。

除此之外，本園亦會支援非華語學童。本園會聘請非華語老師專責教導他們中文。本園會購買一些中文教材、教具和中文圖書，讓非華語學童透過教材、教具和閱讀中文圖書去學習中文。同時，亦會鼓勵本園的學生多與非華語學童一起進行不同的學習活動，學習尊重不同的文化，彼此接納，建立良好的人際關係，令非華語學童投入校園生活，建立校園共融文化。

在面見時，學校可按需要為非華語兒童家長安排傳譯及或翻譯服務。

學校為非華語兒童的支援措施，例如：老師會在課堂上運用中文教材、教具及中文圖書，教導非華語兒童一些簡單的詞彙及短句子表達自己，並提供為非華語兒童家長而設的查詢電話號碼及電郵地址。

Introduction to School

Our school was established in September 2001.  It is one of the affiliated kindergartens of the group of Tai Po Baptist Kindergartens.  Our kindergarten is located on the ground floor of Chak Sing House of   Tin Chak Estate in Tin Shui Wai.

We aim at fostering the all round development of young children including the moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetics and spiritual development.  We are striving our best to provide a good learning environment for children to learn and for their balanced development.  We are able to achieve this purpose with our physical school environment, good learning resources and the design of different types of play and activities for children to take part in.  At the same time, we develop knowledge and skills appropriate to their ages for 3 to 6 years old children.  We also focus on the nurturing of good life and learning habits among the children.  They are crucial aspects of their development  too.

In addition, we will also support non-Chinese speaking children and hire non-Chinese teachers to teach them Chinese. We will purchase some Chinese textbooks, teaching aids and Chinese story books, so that non-Chinese speaking children can learn Chinese through the textbooks, teaching aids and reading Chinese story books. At the same time, students in our kindergarten will also be encouraged to engage in different learning activities with non-Chinese speaking children, learn to respect different cultures, accept each other, and establish good interpersonal relationships, so that non-Chinese speaking children can participate in campus life and establish a campus culture of inclusiveness.

During the face-to-face meeting, the school can arrange interpretation and/or translation services for parents of non-Chinese speaking children as needed.

The school provides support measures for non-Chinese speaking children. For example, teachers will use Chinese textbooks, teaching aids and Chinese story books in class to teach non-Chinese speaking children some simple vocabulary and short sentences to express themselves, and provide enquiries for parents of non-Chinese speaking children.

Aims

Children enjoy happy and social life in our school.  They learn to think independently; they are ready to take up challenges with appropriate aptitude.  Children are able to develop their potential to full, at the same time they learn how to appreciate others and shoulder responsibilities, laying a concrete foundation for life-long learning.
